US Passport Size Photos
April 24th, 2007 . by adminSo it turns out that the standard size for US passport photos is larger than the standard for Australian passport photos.
Because my Australian passport has expired recently, I am applying for a new one and actually need to get new Australian passport photos too.
I found a list of photographers for US passport photos, called around to check pricing and found that PhotoFactory in South Melbourne had the best deal. I could get six copies each of both US and Australian sized passport photos for $18.00AUD. They are printed from just one digital shot so it was a very quick process.
I have to send one US passport photo, with my name printed gently on the back, to the KCC with my initial forms.

I took my photo by my digital camera and print it in a photo booth. only cost me 33 cent.
Wow, I’ve just applied for my Aussi passport and printed my own pictures that I’d taken with a digital camera - at least I can choose on how I want to look.
