Green Card Lottery Application
December 1st, 2006 . by adminI’ve been meaning to enter the 2008 Diversity (aka Green Card) Lottery all year. I visited the US Dept of State DV Lottery website ages ago to read through all of the latest information about the program. I also forwarded the DV Lottery website link to my housemate who is very keen to move to the USA to pursue a career in film making.
The Deadline
Entries for the Green Card Lottery are only accepted between certain dates in October and December each year. The deadline to enter the 2008 DV Lottery is December 3rd 2006!
We submitted our entries tonight, December 1st 2006, just a few days before the due date! I sure am glad I set the alarm reminder on my phone all those months ago, otherwise my housemate and I would have missed the chance to enter this year!
The Digital Photograph
We followed the 2008 DV Lottery Instructions from the DV Lottery website to take our head shot photographs with a digital camera.

The online entry form was very simple to complete. You are required to submit this basic information so they can identify you once the lottery has been drawn.
